Weak US Economy - Lower Income

The changing forex currency market shows that the Nepali rupee is getting stronger compared to the US dollar. A weaker dollar means income for Nepali bloggers goes down since most affiliate and advertising programs pay in US dollars.

Another fact is because of recession in US economy; Indian Rupee is getting stronger day by day than US dollar; which directly affects Nepali Rupee. A few years back the weak rupee at Rs.72-75 per US dollar closed at Rs. 63.27 per US dollar this Saturday.
I received my latest freelance payment based on the US dollar in exchange rate of Rs. 62.67 per US dollar. For the same period last year my freelance payment was issued at an exchange rate over Rs 70.25 per dollar.

It basically means that if you earned USD 1000, which converted to NRs. 70,250 then now earns you NRs 62,670. Thus, a loss of Rs. 7580 per $1000 dollars earned.
